Calibrate it! Use a container with ice and water. The reason; ice is 32 deg F / 0 deg C.
Best method is crushed ice from the door of your frig or plain old ice cubes will work as well. Add ice and just enough water to cover the ice into the container. There should be enough depth to amply cover the probe (3-4 inches). Let this stand for about 5 mins then insert the probe and let sit for 1 to 2 mins to "soak" probe to the ambient temperature in the container. (you may want to stir gently to move the warmer water away from the probe and making sure it stays off the bottom and the sides. This will ensure you have achieved roughly 0 C or 32 F. With our Superlite meter you can offset the reading to calibrate the meter and probe, matching the actual temperature. Check with the manufacturer of your indicator for the method of calibration.
